Peter Francis is a certified physiotherapist with years of experience working with all types of patients. He has a particular passion for working with baseball players and overhead athletes, but is happy to work with anyone who needs help achieving their goals.
His approach to physiotherapy is all about creating personalized treatment plans that are tailored to each patient’s unique needs. He uses a variety of techniques, such as manual therapy, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, and taping, to make sure his patients receive the best possible care.
He likes to incorporates technology into my practice: from tele-rehabilitation, use of the latest tools and apps to help achieve their goals, no matter where they are located. He also incorporates wearable technology and other tracking devices to monitor progress and provide feedback for athletes. Knowledge of progress and building strong patient-practitioner relationships are key to achieving optimal health outcomes.
When he’s not in the clinic or helping with the UBC Baseball program, he can be found running with his two kids and dog, playing baseball, cycling or trying out the newest breweries in the neighborhood.
