Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that involves delivery of shock waves to injured soft tissue to reduce pain and promote healing by stimulating the tissues and enhancing blood circulation. Strong energy pulses are applied to the affected area. A probe is placed on the skin after a gel is applied to help conduct the shock waves. High- or low-energy waves may be used.
