Daniel received Bsc in Physiotherapy from Trinity College Dublin in 2016. He has since worked with a wide array of Patients. Daniel participated both in boxing and Soccer at a high level in his teenage years and suffered a few injuries a long the way. Understanding the physical and mental strain of injury in sport Daniel has developed a keen interest in helping athletes of all levels return to play post injury. His main Physio goal is to help Patients get back to doing their every day to day activities Pain free.
His approach to Physiotherapy has always been patient centered to tailor a specific individualized program to get patients initially pain free and restore confidence to do tasks without fear of reinjury. Daniels physiotherapy techniques are a combination of Manual therapy, exercise therapy, strength training, education and advice. A great phrase in Physiotherapy that he likes is “there is nothing wrong with getting strong”
Daniels physiotherapy goals are simple, decrease pain , increase function , increase strength, and prevent future re-injury.
In his spare time Daniel is primarily based around sports. He plays with a local soccer team here in the Vancouver’s metro soccer league. If he is not playing/watching sports he likes to go on walks along the beach and stop to read a book.
