Three ways to fit exercise into a busy schedule

1. Make it productive: Instead of running on a treadmill, run somewhere you need to go.  Walking, cycling and running are great ways to get around.

 

2. Make it count: Exercise should be intentional and vigorous. Regardless of whether you are walking, running, or working out at a gym, put in tremendous effort. When you are walking, imagine you are late for work. The more intense the effort, the less time you need to spend exercising.

 

3. Have a plan: Start with your schedule. Book times every week where you can fit in a little exercise. Next look at those exercise sessions. What are you going to do at the gym or where are you going to walk. People with a plan are more likely to succeed.
