Now that we are well into fall and back into the thick of work and studying, I thought it would be appropriate to remind you to stretch when you are at your desk. By stretching intermittently throughout the day less lactic acid will build up in your postural muscles and thus your muscles and body will be less fatigued. Lack of movement and not stretching muscles can lead to pain and soreness. Try these three simple stretches; they will encourage movement of joints and promote blood flow to those tired muscles. For each stretch, hold gently for 30 seconds and repeat 3 times.
